A counter-height table with three stools provides a perfect spot for casual dining, card games, or board games, and the space also includes a dresser and a queen-size bed, making it a versatile area for gathering, entertaining, or additional sleeping accommodations. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, and sometimes earlier with seasonal rains, the cove fills with water, transforming the gently sloping backyard into a personal lakefront playground with direct lake access just steps away. Guests can launch the provided kayaks, including two adult kayaks and one child kayak for guests under 100 pounds, float the afternoon away on lake toys such as floating mats, number floats, and adult-size tubes, or relax by the shoreline while enjoying peaceful lake views from the hammocks or woven chair swing. During the off season, the lower lake levels reveal the unique landscape of the exposed lake bed, creating a fun area to explore along the shoreline. While you will feel tucked away in your own lakeside retreat, you are just five minutes from the nearest grocery store and Dollar General for quick essentials, fifteen minutes from the attractions and dining of Pigeon Forge, twenty minutes from Gatlinburg, and only twenty five minutes from the breathtaking beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Located on Douglas Lake you can rent boats or jet skis to spend the day on the lake. After the lake, head into Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, which have many fun and entertaining attractions for all ages. Start with adventure when you ride coasters at Dollywood, win a game of putt-putt golf, race go-karts, splash at waterparks, mine for gems, visit museums, and oh-so-much more! For outdoor fun, you can explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike to waterfalls, horseback ride through valleys, picnic by a river, and fly fish! Once the thrills and adventure are over, visit the Tanger Outlets and local boutiques, where you can shop until you drop. Enjoy local cuisine, from southern family-style restaurants to chef-cooked meals at dinner time. After dinner, you can find a sweet shop on every corner to satisfy that sweet tooth before returning to the property.

Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year s Eve, or New Year s Day.

Water levels vary throughout the year. During winter, the water is drained, and beginning in April, it starts to fill. By the end of May, it is completely filled.

4pm - There is NO check-in office; you go straight to the cabin. Once all your payments have been made, we will send you an email with the door code we will resend it a week before your stay.
