Wandering Bear Lodge places you right in the heart of the Smokies. A short, slightly steep drive leads you to the chalet, where the driveway levels out and provides parking for up to four vehicles. From here, you are located just minutes from many of the area s most popular attractions. You ll be a short drive from Dollywood, Dolly Parton s Stampede, The Island, WonderWorks, the Titanic Museum, the LeConte Center, and endless options for shopping, dining, and live entertainment in Pigeon Forge. When you re ready for outdoor adventure, a scenic drive will take you to Cades Cove and into the breathtaking beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can enjoy hiking, wildlife viewing, and unforgettable mountain views.

Once the thrills and adventure are over, visit the Tanger Outlets and local boutiques, where you can shop until you drop. Enjoy local cuisine, from southern family-style restaurants to chef-cooked meals at dinner time. After dinner, you can find a sweet shop on every corner to satisfy that sweet tooth before returning to the property.

Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year s Eve, or New Year s Day.

4pm - There is NO check-in office; you go straight to the cabin. Once all your payments have been made, we will email you the door code, which we will resend a week before your stay.
